Most people describe dating as a mixed emotional experience filled with excitement and hope, and heightened nerves and insecurities.

Hey everybody, I originally posted this in the Leisure section, but after seeing this board I think it probably belongs here. I'm a 21 year old, visually impaired woman, and I recently graduated from college. But I was reading some of the post on here and I must say I was touched.

I have many good friends, but have never had a relationship of any kind. Well I'm a male I'm 46 and I'm just letting everyone who feels like they just want to talk to someone I'm here I can provide my cell phone number.

Dating after a divorce can be a tricky thing if you have children.

Even if both parents are doing a good job of maintaining a relationship with their children, divorce is a disruption.

So I'm left wondering what else I can do to make this happen? Anyways I'm here for anyone who wants to chat and goof off lol.

I know it comes down to meeting the right person in the right circumstances, but maybe I'm doing something wrong that's kept it from happening so far? Obviously I know dating is much more difficult for those of us with vision loss, but I can't help but feel disappointed that I haven't experienced any kind of romantic relationship by this point in my life. I don't know how to communicate with people with vision impairment.

I have enough vision to know I'm just as attractive as most people (and more than many), I'm intelligent and fun to be around, and I try hard to make sure others are comfortable with my visual impairment because I know that can be off-putting. Sorry again don't know how to say it without offending.
